I prefer to think of it as a stong base tan rather than, as someone described it tonight, &#8220;looking like a ripe tomato.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>It was a beautiful hike, made even better by the great meal at Guardian Peak restaurant on a vinyard just below the mountain after the descent.
